Jack was chosen as Student of the Week for grades 1-3 at Mountain Green Elementary. Not that I'm not a proud mother, but I just shook my head when the office e-mailed me the news. Jack has a special gift -- he can innocently kiss up to any adult! (His teacher says Jack is an "angel" at school. So that must be why we get his "devil" side at home!) He has done some amazing things this year, though. He's almost finished reading the 4th Harry Potter, after receiving the books for Christmas this year. He also just earned $90 to put toward a Nintendo 3DS. For two months he drove me crazy begging to do jobs and was completely obsessed with making money. "But Mom, I only want to do $10 jobs, not $2 jobs!!!" When he puts his mind to something -- it happens!
Jack's poster cracked me up. He chose the incredibly shiny gold poster board along with sparkly black cardstock. The Vegas pics made us pretty homesick for our friends. Jack specifically wanted to state on the poster that "Jake Chugg is my best friend."

I must be emotional today....my eyes sprung to tears with the line about Jake. We miss you guys so much too! Show more of the house it is so great!
